Classical music critics meet in Denver

From June 11th through the 14th, the the Music Critics Association of North America (see mcana.org) met in Denver, Colorado for its annual conference.  Since I am a member of the MCANA, I like to go to these conferences because they usually offer some interesting panel discussion and a chance to hobnob with other critics. Denver hosted the National Performing Arts Convention at the same time, so I planned to take advantage to that as well (see www.performingartsconvention.org). I have a series of postings that will follow this one to give you a glimpse into what I saw and heard.
